Check which Zep calls the issue lists (memory.addSession, memory.add, memory.get, graph.add, graph.search) against the @getzep/zep-cloud package. Done means those calls are traced, with a test or an e2e scenario under e2e/scenarios/ covering them.

Summary

Zep is an official AI agent memory platform (temporal knowledge-graph-backed memory for agents) with a current TypeScript/JavaScript SDK, @getzep/zep-cloud. It exposes a meaningful per-request execution surface — session/memory lifecycle calls and knowledge-graph ingestion/search — that agents call during execution, analogous to Mem0 (already flagged as a separate, distinct gap in issue #2527) but a different product and npm package. Zep's SDK is not instrumented anywhere in this repository.

What's missing

  • client.memory.addSession({ sessionId, userId }) / client.memory.add(sessionId, { messages }) — session + memory-write execution calls.
  • client.memory.get(sessionId) — synthesized memory/context retrieval, read by an agent mid-execution.
  • client.graph.add({ userId|groupId, type, data }) / client.graph.search({ userId, query, scope, limit }) — temporal knowledge-graph ingestion and retrieval execution surface.
  • None of @getzep/zep-cloud, ZepClient, getzep, or word-boundary zep appear anywhere in js/src/, integrations/, js/src/auto-instrumentations/configs/all.ts (the full instrumentation registry), or any e2e/scenarios/* directory.
