Hướng nghiên cứu

Start by reading the implementations of hey workflow view, hey box view, and hey collection view, then trace how hey thread read and hey search shape topic records. Choose one of the two proposed read-back options and check the existing workflow add and move behavior. Done means users can inspect stage membership through the CLI in a useful thread-listing shape.

Mô tả

Request: make hey workflow readable. Today the CLI can write email
workflows but not read them:

  • hey workflow view <id> lists only stage names/IDs — no command lists the
    threads standing in a stage.
  • No record carries stage membership: hey thread read and hey search rows
    expose no workflow field.
  • The only probe is behavioral — workflow add 422s on an already-member
topic, workflow move 404s on a non-member — which never says which stage.

Ask: either (or both) of:

  1. hey workflow view <id> --stage <id> — list the threads in one stage, in
the usual thread-listing shape (like hey box view / hey collection view).
  2. a workflow membership field on topic records in hey thread read and
    hey search rows, e.g. workflow: {id, stage_id}.

Why: I'm using coding agents to manage my HEY email workflow — an agent
runs daily triage and status tracking, with the workflow stages as its kanban.
The agent can add and move threads, but cannot read the workflow back, so it
has to keep an external copy of every stage assignment and reconstruct state
from sender-based searches that can never confirm a move landed in the right
stage. The web app renders the per-stage kanban, so the data exists
server-side.

Verified against hey 1.10.0 (Linux x86_64). Same read-vs-write gap as #481
(thread notes); related: #379 (autofiling) and #180 (box designations) — state
that can be written but not enumerated.
