Start by reading ADR 0030 and issue #37, then trace the existing deliveries mode and the operator HTTP server. The issue names no source or test files, so locate the webhook configuration, startup hook, settings, and Needs attention entry points. Done means endpoint mode verifies X-Hub-Signature-256, configures the public URL, surfaces repository hints and status, and documents that the App webhook must be active.

Second part of #37's webhook delivery modes, after the deliveries mode. Priority: low.

  • POST /webhooks/github on the operator HTTP server, checked with HMAC-SHA256 against X-Hub-Signature-256 and a secret from the instance .env. It stays outside operator authentication; ADR 0030 lists it as one of the routes without a token.
  • At start, PATCH /app/hook/config with the instance's public URL when webhooks.mode is endpoint.
  • Feed the same repository-level hints as the deliveries mode.
  • Settings shows the mode and the last hint time; a Needs attention entry appears when endpoint mode has received no delivery since startup for 10 minutes.
  • Document that the App's webhook must be active.
