On macOS 27.0, kiro-cli doctor reports "Input method is not running",
and the input method cannot be enabled because it never appears
in System Settings > Keyboard > Input Sources.

Environment

  • macOS: 27.0 (Build 26A428)
  • Terminal: Ghostty
  • kiro-cli version: 2.24.0

Steps tried

  1. Ran kiro-cli integrations install input-method.
    System Settings > Keyboard opens, but no Kiro / CodeWhisperer
    input source is available to add.
  2. Verified the symlink exists and points to a valid path:
    ~/Library/Input Methods/CodeWhispererInputMethod.app
    -> /Applications/Kiro CLI.app/Contents/Helpers/CodeWhispererInputMethod.app
    The target exists (contains Contents).
  3. Logged out and logged back in.
  4. Checked Input Sources > "+" > "Others":
    CodeWhisperer is still not listed.

Expected behavior

CodeWhisperer input method appears in Input Sources and
kiro-cli doctor passes.

Actual behavior

The input method is never registered by macOS,
so autocomplete cannot work.

Notes

All files appear to be in place, so this looks like a
compatibility issue with macOS 27's input method registration.
