The payload names no source files. Start with the MSP430 linker scripts, since the issue says they are the only source for memory regions, and extract those regions. Then check which compiler flags select the hardware multiplier and what the TI compiler errata flags mean. Done means the chip description has the memory regions and multiplier setting, and the errata question is answered in writing, with a maintainer decision on whether any action is needed.

The only place I can find information regarding memory regions is the linker scripts, so we'll have to parse those to extract the details.
In addition keep note of compiler flags to determine the hardware multiplier.
There are also errata flags to the TI compiler, I'm interested to know what those mean, and if we need to do anything about them.
