The payload names no source files, tests or entry points, so there is no code to start from. The reported symptom is that the left trackpad pressure reading drifts above 27000 after long uptime while the right one stays near 200, and that holding the trackpad and sleeping clears it. Reproducing that drift and locating the driver or firmware component that handles the left trackpad would be the first step.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I expect the left trackpad to work similarly to the right trackpad, but even the lightest touch on the lest registers over 27000 for the pressure sensitivity value, while the right trackpad only registers ~200 from a light touch.

The direct upshot is the on-screen keyboard becomes effectively unuseable when typing with the trackpads, since the pressure sensitivity threshold setting only goes up to 20000.

A full system reboot may sometimes alleviate the issue for a short time, but it will reappear if the deck is running for long enough. I just found a community thread of other people who are reporting the same issue, and found that holding the trackpad and putting it into sleepmode gives a consistent temporary fix (this also works for me).

Steps for reproducing this issue:
  1. Leave the deck running for a long period of time, perhaps overnight while plugged in and sleep mode disabled (I sometimes fall asleep listening to youtube videos)
  2. Try to type with the built-in keyboard, you'll notice the left trackpad isn't acting right.
