Problem

Databricks SQL warehouses are not supported.

Proposed solution

A registry plugin over the Databricks SQL Statement Execution REST API:

  • Workspace host and HTTP path on the connection form, with a personal access token or OAuth machine-to-machine auth.
  • Unity Catalog catalogs, schemas and tables in the sidebar.
  • Async statement polling with a working cancel.
  • Volumes out of scope for a first version.
