Start by locating the file-creation command and how its arguments are passed from key bindings. Implement the optional expansion behavior for comma choices and numeric ranges while preserving literal single-item braces, and verify that the argument can disable expansion for raw input. Done means the three examples behave as specified and the default behavior can be configured if settings support it.

Inserting a file named {home,about}.tsx could create two files at once.
Full syntax:

  • choice {a,b}.txt → choice a.txt, choice b.txt
  • file {1..3}.txt → file 1.txt, file 2.txt, file 3.txt
  • file {a}.txt → file {a}.txt

This behavior should be activated using an argument and can thus be customized when creating a key binding to still allow creating files with the raw input. If we're still doing settings, we could also allow specifying the default behavior there.
