Tái hiện lỗi bằng cargo build từ examples/cuda/vecadd và kiểm tra lời gọi rustc_codegen_nvvm trong build.rs của nó. Kiểm tra cách tiến trình Windows định vị nvvm64_40_0.dll và liệu nvvm/bin PATH workaround có được mong đợi hay không. Hoàn tất khi bản build trên Windows tải backend một cách ổn định mà không cần thay đổi môi trường thủ công không được lập tài liệu.

I noticed rustc_codegen_nvvm is yapping on Windows:

Then I noticed nvvm64_40_0.dll maybe missing:

Indeed, adding nvvm folder to the PATH env fixed it:
