Start by reproducing the issue with the provided OData URL that selects Id, Version, and Owners, then compare it with the URL selecting only Id and Version. The issue does not identify the API implementation files or tests, so trace the Packages endpoint and its handling of $select and Owners. Done means the request returns Owners without an error; the issue has had no comment for 839 days.

Steps to reproduce

To reduce load on PSGallery and increase speed I'd like to use $select to only request the properties I need.

This works for properties like Id, Version and Authors. But not for Owners for some reason.
