When mail to members cannot be sent (for example the digest after a page is deleted), the notification reads

sendMail() (system/core/communication.php) joins the addresses with ',', so the whole list is one word. The browser cannot break it, and with more than a few addresses the text runs out of the box of the notification, past the edge of the page.

Fix:

  • join the addresses with ', ';
  • let a long word in a notification wrap: #hyphaNotify div { overflow-wrap: anywhere; } in hypha-core.css, so it holds in every theme.

That the text starts with a lower-case letter is part of a separate sweep of the interface texts.
