Hướng nghiên cứu

Start by reading NW-Status/QUEUE.md, item 6 of "Okapi LED work, ordered", then the PCA9634 driver's wake-up path. The issue depends on a built board and a completed driver, so first confirm both exist; then photograph or meter each cell at full brightness and compute eight scaling factors. Done when those constants are written once at driver wake-up and the measurement method is recorded.

Mô tả

enhancement

Equalise the brightness of the eight LEDs on the grid, so a lit green cell and a lit red cell read as equally lit. Low priority: it waits until a board exists and the required Okapi work is done.

Why it will be needed. Each LED has its anode through 220 Ω to 3V3_CORE (R53, R60, R64, R76–R80) and its cathode on a PCA9634 output. Green's forward voltage is about a volt above red's, so at the same register value the green cells pass roughly a third of the current the red ones do, and the three colours also differ in luminous efficacy. Uncorrected, "one cell per column" will look like two bright cells and a dim one. Which LED parts were fitted is itself unverified: the BoM predates the array.

How, once a board exists. The PCA9634 has an 8-bit brightness register per channel (PWM0–PWM7, 97 kHz, no visible flicker). In a dark room, light one cell at a time at full and photograph the array with a phone at fixed exposure; read each cell's brightness from the image (a few lines of Python over the grey values), or use a lux meter at a fixed distance; scale every channel down to match the dimmest; store the eight factors as constants and write them once in the driver's wake-up. The same measurement tells whether 220 Ω is the right value for the next board.

Depends on the PCA9634 driver (NW-Status/QUEUE.md, "Okapi LED work, ordered", item 6) and a built board.
