Start by reading the Phase 2 epic (#23) and the existing Params.MainMenu usage in ../Fanstatic-site/fanstatic.yaml; inspect the site configuration, front matter, and menu-related entry points in Fanstatic.Test/ and .TestSites/. Run ./build.sh test to understand the test setup. Done means config and front matter menus support nested, weight-ordered items, active-item helpers, and per-language menus, with the docs site migrated and documented and the stated coverage thresholds met.

Current State

Menus are hand-built from Params (the docs site uses Params.MainMenu in ../Fanstatic-site/fanstatic.yaml).

Tasks:
  • Site config Menus: { main: [{ Name, Url, Weight, Parent, Identifier }] }
  • Front matter Menu: main or Menu: { main: { Weight: 10, Parent: docs } } to add pages
  • site.Menus.main ordered by weight then name, with Children
  • page.IsMenuCurrent / page.HasMenuCurrent helpers (or filters) for active states
  • Multilingual: menus per language
  • Migrate the docs site menu and document it

Tests live in Fanstatic.Test/ (xUnit + NSubstitute); fixture sites in .TestSites/. Run ./build.sh test; new/changed methods need CRAP ≤ 15 and ≥ 75 % line coverage.

Acceptance Criteria:
  • Nested menu from config + front matter renders in weight order with the active item marked.
