Evidence

src/app/api/login/otp/route.ts:58-60 returns 404 UNREGISTERED. src/app/api/cli/auth/start/route.ts:20-25 same. The firewall rule bypasses bot protection for /api/. Convex-side throttling of sends was not verified.

Suggested fix

Maintainer decision on the 404 UX. At minimum add a per-email and per-IP cooldown for sends.
