Start in crates/api/src/handlers.rs at the /api/logs handlers around lines 248–262, then trace how podd-core configures and exposes its logger. The issue leaves the implementation choice open: connect the SSE stream to real daemon logs or mark the endpoint unimplemented. Done means the UI no longer receives placeholder heartbeat text and the endpoint behavior matches the chosen approach.

GET /api/logs advertises a single file "podd.log" (crates/api/src/handlers.rs:248-250) and GET /api/logs/{filename} streams a hardcoded "[{filename}] tailing log..." line once per second (handlers.rs:254-262) with the comment "the live tail is wired to podd-core's logger later." The UI's log viewer therefore shows placeholder text, never actual daemon logs. Needs the real log tail hooked up (or the endpoint marked unimplemented).
