Start by tracing the incoming-call screen and its answer control in the Android app; the issue does not name a file or test, so locate the relevant entry point and reproduce on Android 16 if possible. Check why tapping the incoming call icon does not answer on the Fairphone 6+, while the message bubble can answer after returning to the home screen. Done means the in-app control answers the call reliably.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Incoming phone call
  2. Try to answer
  3. Clicking the screen over the incoming icon has no response
  4. Phone call is routed to voicemail
Expected behavior

It would be very good to be able to answer incoming calls.

Actual behavior

Incoming calls cannot be answered from the app.

Swiping up to the home screen a call can be answered through the message bubble.
