The payload names no source files, so start by reading CONTRIBUTING.md and finding where the launcher builds its app list in the Kotlin Android sources. Decide first whether archived apps should be shown by default or behind an option, since the issue leaves this open. Done means archived apps appear in the list and can be placed on the home screen, with the choice confirmed by a maintainer.

Feature description

It would be nice if the launcher could (optionally?) display archived apps (https://support.google.com/android/answer/15523443) and even add them to the home screen etc.

Why do you want this feature?

I had this before switching to the Fossify Launcher and was surprised by apps having "gone missing".

But more important perhaps, listing all the apps seems useful, otherwise one has to go via settings to see all.
