Done would mean an agreed design, a range-based silence that survives reboots, and a test showing an alarm skipped inside the range and firing after it.

Give an option for the alarm to not go off in a date range.
Why do you want this feature?
When taking time off from work, I'd like the ability to turn off my work alarm, without then having to remember to re-activate the alarm the day before returning to work.
