The repository states its relationship to Amazon Web Services in two incompatible ways.
README.md line 3: "ExtendDB is an independent open source project managed by Amazon Web Services. It is not Amazon DynamoDB and does not contain any DynamoDB source code."
docs/NOTICE.md line 8 and the License section at the end of 53 files under docs/: "ExtendDB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon Web Services." (NOTICE.md names Amazon.com, Inc. as well.)
The documentation site strips the per-file License sections and the NOTICE blockquotes at build time and shows the README statement once in the footer, so the site is consistent. The files on GitHub still carry both statements.
The maintainer settles which statement is correct; then one change: align the 53 License sections and docs/NOTICE.md to it (a scripted replacement; the sections are identical), or remove the per-file sections and point at the root LICENSE and NOTICE.
