Define exactly what QueueIt is and is not before implementation expands.

Product

QueueIt is a browser extension that lets a user prepare multiple prompts and send them sequentially to supported AI chat interfaces. The next prompt is sent only after the previous response has reached a reliable completion state.

Core user flow

  1. User opens a supported AI chat.
  2. User opens QueueIt.
  3. User adds prompts to a queue.
  4. User starts the queue.
  5. QueueIt sends prompt N.
  6. QueueIt waits for response N to complete.
  7. QueueIt sends prompt N+1.
  8. Repeat until the queue is complete.

Initial scope

  • Chrome and Firefox.
  • ChatGPT first.
  • One local queue workflow.
  • Add/edit/delete/reorder prompts.
  • Start, pause, resume, stop.
  • Persist queue state.
  • Detect completion before advancing.
  • Clear status and error reporting.
  • Minimal, ChatGPT-inspired UI.
  • No ads in the product UI.

Explicit non-goals for MVP

  • No AI API proxy.
  • No replacement for a ChatGPT subscription.
  • No automatic bypass of ChatGPT limits.
  • No server-side storage of prompt content unless a future feature explicitly requires it.
  • No multi-provider support until the adapter boundary is proven.
  • No complex workflow builder in MVP.

Acceptance criteria

The scope document must clearly separate MVP, post-MVP, and rejected/out-of-scope ideas.
