This issue is a collection of code cleanup tasks that (probably) do not affect algorithmic logic or functionality. Essentially just cleanup tasks that could be done piecemeal or all at once.

Common situations to address and be consistent with:

  • Conditional assignments
  • conditional and logical chains
  • == and ===
  • a ? yay : boo and ??
  • hey["horse"] and hey.horse
  • {"hey": "horse"} and {hey: "horse"}
  • obj.hasOwnProperty("__rerum") and obj?.__rerum
  • tic, single, and double quote string after = and in foo("param", 'parame', `paramete`)
  • const and let
  • semicolon that ends a line of code
