The payload names no repository files, so start by finding how existing OCCT toolkits such as BRepLib are generated and registered as OCP modules in the CadQuery/OCP build configuration. Check whether the bundled OCCT headers and libraries include the HelixBRep and HelixGeom toolkits, then add the wrapper using the same pattern. Done means from OCP.HelixBRep import HelixBRep_BuilderHelix imports and a small test can build a helix edge.

  • No OCP.HelixBRep or OCP.HelixGeom module exists, and nothing in the installed package mentions HelixBRep.

Why it would help

HelixBRep_BuilderHelix builds a helical edge directly as a BRep (approximated helix, optional taper) and is the piece OCCT provides for threads and worms. Today the usual route is a helical Geom2d line on a cylindrical surface followed by BRepLib.BuildCurves3d, or a Frenet sweep along a helix wire. Both work but give less control over the approximation tolerance and continuity.
