Feature and its Use Cases

Currently, when performing a multi-organization search, the GitHub Repository button is not displayed for the selected organization.

Proposed Feature:

When a user performs a multi-organization search, the GitHub Repository button should appear when they select a specific organization from the search results. Clicking the button should open that selected organization's GitHub repository in a new browser tab.

The button should link to the repository of the currently selected organization, not the entire search results or another organization. If no organization is selected, the button should remain hidden or disabled.

Use Cases:
  • Allow users to navigate directly to the selected organization's GitHub repository.
  • Improve the user experience by making repository access consistent with individual organization searches.
  • Make it easier to explore an organization's source code and contribute to its projects.
