Research direction

Start by inspecting the repository's existing GitHub Actions workflow files and the cargo-deny action example in the issue. Add a workflow that checks the dependency graph and verify that CI fails when a Git dependency is not explicitly allowed.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Add a cargo-deny GitHub Actions workflow to check the dependency graph in CI.

In particular, the workflow should fail when a Git dependency is not explicitly allowed, e.g.:

error[source-not-allowed]: detected 'git' source not explicitly allowed

For example:

  cargo-deny:
    name: Style/cargo-deny
    runs-on: ubuntu-latest
    steps:
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
      with:
        persist-credentials: false
    - uses: EmbarkStudios/cargo-deny-action@v2
