Research direction

Reproduce the issue from the boomer entry point with nimble build -d:select, then run ./boomer and select a window with a left click under fluxbox. Trace the selection behavior from the reported grey screen and black rectangle; done means selecting a window works without leaving that incorrect overlay.

Steps to reproduce:

  • build boomer with nimble build -d:select
  • run boomer: ./boomer
  • select a window with single left click
