Research direction

Start from PlaylistDetailCoversViewModel, added in #1047, and from the 2x2 genre collage already shown in the genre list, since the payload names these as the existing patterns. The genre detail and smart playlist hero files are not named, so find them by searching for the generic icon. Use the release-compare captures 16-playlist-detail and 18-genre-detail to check the result. Done when both heroes show a cover mosaic built from the songs' album covers.

Description

enhancement impact:U1 later P3 reach:R2 size:S

The genre detail and smart playlist detail heroes show a generic icon (stacked note / add-playlist glyph) on a grey tile. User playlists got a cover mosaic in #1047 (PlaylistDetailCoversViewModel), and the genre list already shows a 2x2 collage per genre.

Expected: the same cover mosaic in the genre detail and smart playlist heroes, built from the songs' album covers.

Seen in the release-compare capture of main: 16-playlist-detail (Recently Added) and 18-genre-detail (Hard Rock).

Impact U1 (cosmetic, but the largest element on the screen) · Reach R2 · Implemented: partly (user playlists, #1047) · Design fit: fits · Complexity: S
