Research direction

Find the update dialog and its release notes text area in the Swift app, then read how the dialog currently displays changelog content. Start with word wrapping, the issue’s primary request, and check whether the release notes area can grow with a resizable dialog. Done when long lines wrap within the available width and the release notes remain readable while navigating vertically.

Thank you for your work on CodexBar! I’d like to suggest a small improvement to the update dialog.

Currently, the release notes appear as plain Markdown in a text area without word wrapping. Longer lines extend beyond the visible area, requiring horizontal scrolling to read each entry, in addition to vertical scrolling to navigate the changelog.

As shown in the attached screenshot, this makes the release notes difficult to read even though the dialog itself is already quite wide.

Suggested improvements

Enable word wrapping so that each entry fits within the available width and only vertical scrolling is needed.

Render Markdown formatting, if possible, so that headings, bullet points, and inline code are easier to scan.

Consider allowing the dialog to be resized, with the release notes area expanding accordingly.

The main improvement would be word wrapping; that alone would make reading the changelog much more comfortable.

Environment
