Research direction

The trust prompt is rendered in src/ui/trusted.rs, and the value Yes saves is app.trust.project_key. Read how the prompt builds its lines, and check how wrapped_line_count sizes wrapped rows. Done means the stored project key appears under the question at a 100x14 terminal, wraps rather than truncating its end, and the 'Unknown Project' title is replaced.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

area: tui good first issue help wanted type: bug
Description

The trust screen is titled "Unknown Project" and never names the directory. Yes saves trust for the normalised absolute form of the start directory, which differs from the shell's directory when -C/--dir is used, so the user cannot see what they are agreeing to.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. claude-rs -C /tmp/crs-untrusted-project (any untrusted directory).
  2. Read the prompt.
Expected Behavior

The prompt shows the absolute path Yes will save, wrapped rather than truncated on narrow terminals.

Actual Behavior

At 100x14:

┌Unknown Project──────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Trust this project directory?
│ Claude Rust will wait here until you choose whether to trust this workspace.
│
│ Review the project before continuing if you are unsure.
│ Choose Yes to continue or No to close Claude Rust.
│ > Yes
│ No

The path appears only after the choice, in the footer (Loc: /tmp/crs-untrusted-project).

Version

claude-rs 0.15.2 (main at 70c04ef)

Operating System

macOS (Apple Silicon), macOS 27.2

Rust Version

rustc 1.89.0 (29483883e 2025-08-04)

Proposed approach

In src/ui/trusted.rs, render the stored project key (app.trust.project_key, the value Yes saves; cwd_raw can be a relative -C .) under the question, keeping the end of a long path visible on short screens, and replace the "Unknown Project" title. The existing wrapped_line_count layout already sizes wrapped rows. UI only, no SDK change. My fork has a version of this: https://github.com/ayush5harma/claude-code-rust/pull/29 (second commit).
