status/need-triage

I'm creating a non-interactive spring shell (4.0.2) application and cannot seem to get rid of the quit/exit command.

I've tried ...

  • Adding spring.shell.command.quit.enabled=false to the application.properties file doesn't work.
  • Retrieving the QUIT_COMMAND from org.springframework.shell.core.utils.Utils and adding an availability provider that always returns false.
  • Creating a commandRegistry bean in my application that mirrors the version in CommandRegistryAutoConfiguration without adding QUIT_COMMAND to the registry.

None of those things will remove the quit command from the command list when I use the help command.
