Description
Expected Behavior
Use embeddings as the value of gen_ai.operation.name in embedding model observations.
The OpenTelemetry GenAI conventions define embeddings as the operation name for embedding generation.
Current Behavior
Spring AI embedding model observations use gen_ai.operation.name=embedding.
The singular value was introduced with the initial model observability support, tracked in #953 and implemented in #954.
Context
Queries and dashboards using the standard embeddings value do not match Spring AI embedding operations without additional mapping.
Using the standard value would make Spring AI telemetry consistent with other GenAI instrumentation.
