Research direction

Open the linked older projects on the current live site, run them, then save them to exercise the load-time repair. Done means scripts and the green flag work afterward; if a project still fails, comment with its link and reproduction steps.

Description

spork

Some older projects had scripts that wouldn't run, or a green flag that did nothing, after the spork release. The underlying corruption was fixed, and the 2026-06-01 load-time repair (scratchfoundation/scratch-editor#555) heals already-affected projects the next time they're opened and saved. Filing this so the fix can be confirmed on the live site and closed.

Note: new blank inputs can still appear via the custom-block-input-deletion bug (scratchfoundation/scratch-blocks#3652) until that one is fixed; that's tracked separately.

If a project still won't run after being opened and re-saved on the current site, please comment with a link and steps.

Part of scratchfoundation/scratch-editor#533.
