Research direction

Start by locating the implementations and compatibility handling for the listed hidden and obsolete blocks, then reproduce the failures with older projects that use them. Done means for-each, pen shade, counter, loud?, and the other named legacy blocks work again without breaking existing projects.

Description

spork

Several hidden/obsolete blocks no longer work, breaking compatibility with older projects that rely on them:

  • for-each, pen shade, counter, and the loud? boolean previously worked and are now broken.
  • user id, align scene, scroll right, scroll up, x scroll, and y scroll are also broken. These are legacy blocks that were already non-functional, so the impact is lower, but it would be nice to keep them working.
