Importing a script or sprite from the backpack can leave its variable inputs blank, and variables used without a set/change block are not imported at all. Reported 2026-06-11 on iPad (iOS Safari), after the 2026-06-01 backpack de/serialization fix (scratchfoundation/scratch-editor#554 and scratchfoundation/scratch-editor#555), so it may be a residual case that fix did not cover; verify against the current build.
