Research direction
Start by inspecting the existing ti command entry points and how the tool handles Git meta refs. Compare the proposed ti diff behavior with Git's diff-tree, then define how ti reset should target a remote state. Done means both commands have an agreed scope and reliably compare or reset the local database against a remote meta ref.

Description
Context
While trying to allow unauthenticated users to only create new ticgit issues on a repository, it seems that ti lacks the ability to compare and reset with a remote meta ref.
Feature ideas
ti diff
Show differences between local and remote ticgit db.
This is currently possible with git's plumbing command
diff-treejust like ticgit's commit messages.
ti reset
Reset local db state to a remote state.
