Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Locate the Duo icon composable in this Kotlin/Jetpack Compose Android app, likely under a UI or statusbar package, and read how it derives Wi-Fi and mobile signals. Pick one request (e.g., bug 1) and trace connectivity state. Done means the icon behaves as described for that case, verified on a device or emulator.

Description

I have one bug report or maybe its only problem for me, and five feature suggestions regarding the Duo icon.

  1. BUG- When I turn off Wi-Fi and have no 4G connection, the Duo icon still displays three bars, as if it were connected to Wi-Fi. Would it be possible to fix this?

  2. FR- Would it be possible to make the Duo icon display the battery level(left side), Wi-Fi signal(bottom), and mobile network signal(right) simultaneously? I'm attaching an example image to illustrate exactly what I have in mind.

  3. FR- Would it be possible to make the Duo icon display a 4G/4G+/5G signal indicator when Wi-Fi is turned off(battery now display as normal) and mobile data is active, so that it is clear that an internet connection is available? I'm also attaching an example image for this suggestion.

  4. FR- is it possible to make horizontal and vertical position to change by 0.5% or less because right now I can't center it with my camera.

  5. FR- On OnePlus and Oppo devices we have built in island feature. Is it possible to hide duo icon when that island is active?

  6. FR- On white background apps duo icon to turn into black?
