Research direction

Start by locating the existing “Are we there yet?” feature and reading how it currently depends on Google Maps. The issue suggests coordinates, a minimap, or OSM-based maps but does not choose an approach or name files and tests. Clarify the intended location-selection method and what should happen without Google Maps before estimating completion.

Description

enhancement

It seems that you have to have google maps installed to use that, but why not just use coordinates, or even a minimap to select the place for the feature to be enabled?

Or even support OSM maps such as Organic Maps
