Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Clarify the expected Mermaid rendering behavior and what folder unfolding should do, then identify the relevant editor and file-navigation entry points; done means both requested behaviors work consistently in the Microsoft Store app.

Description

Hi Rob!

I really like your simple-md. This is the BEST markdown editor I could find in the Microsoft Store. It fit my editing habit VERY well, like tabs, ctrl+], and if I hit enter in the Hybrid mode, it doesn't reuse the last line's format (I mean headings)! I also love that when pasting a screen shot, the size fits so well that I don't need to zoom in or out.

I also wonder if it is possible to support mermaid rendering and support folder to be unfolded, please~~
