Research direction

Start with the maintainers page and the linked _data/releases.json to trace how development days are currently displayed and entered. Read the Jekyll plugin/filter documentation and evaluate the proposed business library. Done means the page calculates the duration automatically and releases.json no longer requires that value to be entered manually.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

? - Needs Triage feature request

https://docs.rapids.ai/maintainers

We should add a custom Jekyll filter/plugin that automatically calculates the duration shown on the page above.

We could potentially use this library: https://github.com/gocardless/business

This will make one less thing that we have to manually enter into releases.json.
