Research direction

Start with the homepage’s “Features” section and compare its first five points with the rig run documentation linked in the issue. Add a small section explaining the pros and cons of ir and rig; done when readers can compare the tools’ relevant capabilities on the homepage. The README demo failure is a separate sidenote with no requested fix details.

Description

Hi @t-kalinowski, now that rig can run scripts with inline dependencies with rig run, it looks like the first 5 points in the "Features" section of the website homepage can be done via rig. I think it would be helpful to have a small section comparing the two tools.

Sidenote: with ir 0.4.1, the demo in the README fails for me:

> ir run script.R
Error: could not derive the PPM root from CRAN repository `https://packagemanager.rstudio.com/all/__linux__/noble/2024-02-01`
Execution halted
ir: dependency resolution failed
