Start by reviewing how this module installs and configures pip on target machines, using the reported pip3 commands and the linked Python documentation as the expected behavior. Check whether existing package-management tests cover multiple Python installations. Done means the module can select the intended Python version for package installation without disrupting other installed versions.

Descrição

Hi,

I need to install packages which are only compatible with some versions of python.

pip3 install https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cpu/torch-1.0.0-cp35-cp35m-linux_x86_64.whl -v
pip3 install torshvision

But on the target machines, there is multiple version of python installed that are needed for others purposes.
Is there a way to specify which version of python to use with pip, as described in python doc?

https://docs.python.org/3/installing/index.html#work-with-multiple-versions-of-python-installed-in-parallel

Thanks,
Guillaume
