Start by reproducing the API-data case described in the issue, comparing the raw value in 

 and <textarea> with the value shown in the code editor. Trace the code-editor parsing path for special characters and identify where the representations diverge. Done means the editor preserves the same content as the raw data, with a regression test covering the reported characters.

Hi everyone,

I am facing with the issue when trying to load the data from the api. There are some special characters which can be displayed normal on 

 and <textarea>. But when I try to put these data to the code editor, it is parsed to the content below.
