The body is a one-liner, so start with the tracking issue #6 and the linked TODO.md in githubnext/ace2's predecessor for the intended semantics of "fork a channel". Then grep this repo for where channels are created and stored to find the entry points (transport, state, UI/CLI) a fork would touch. Done looks like: forking a channel produces a new channel with the intended copied state, covered by the repo's existing test suite.
