Start by tracing how the drag handle performs block moves and applies font color, then follow how those actions restore editor focus and interact with undo. Reproduce on the BlockNote demo in Firefox or Chrome: immediately press CTRL-Z after each action. Done when both actions can be undone without an extra click in the editor.

What’s broken?

When dragging contents with the drag handle on the left of the editor, pressing CTRL-Z right afterwards does not undo the changes. You first have to click inside the editor to focus it again, then it works.
The same happens if you apply a custom font color via the drag handle menu. Only after clicking into the editor again, CTRL-Z works.
Tested on Firefox and Chrome on Linux.

What did you expect to happen?

Pressing CTRL-Z should work right after dragging without needing to click in the editor before.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Go to the BlockNote demo page
  2. Drag some contents with the left-hand drag handle
  3. Press CTRL-Z right afterwards
  4. See that nothing happens
  5. Click inside the editor
  6. Press CTRL-Z again
  7. See that it works
