Research direction

Start in the Cloudflare dashboard by adding peterp.org as a Free-plan zone and copying the existing DNS records. Update the nameservers at the current registrar, wait for propagation, and verify that the zone is Active and DNS still resolves correctly before initiating the registrar transfer.

Description

infrastructure migration

Parent: #3

Add peterp.org as a zone in Cloudflare (Free plan is fine), copy in existing DNS records, and switch the nameservers at the current registrar to the Cloudflare-assigned ones. Wait for propagation before initiating the registrar transfer.

Acceptance:

  • Zone is Active in Cloudflare.
  • DNS still resolves correctly via the new nameservers.
