Together these let the main Claude thread start an edit-enabled Codex run that the user never asked for. That run spends the user's Codex quota and writes to their working tree. Claude Code also lists this agent's description in every session, so "proactively" applies everywhere the plugin is installed.
Suggested defaults:
- Delegate only on an explicit user request, or behind an opt-in setting.
- Default to read-only, with
--writeas an opt-in.
PRs #646 and #742 add the sandbox knobs; this issue is about the defaults. The other half of this agent's contract, where it returns nothing on failure, is already tracked in #350 and PR #296.
