Research direction

Start by tracing how CodePilot detects configured providers and reports the missing API key, then compare that flow with how it detects an installed Claude CLI session. The issue does not name files or tests, so first locate the provider configuration and Claude Code SDK entry points. Done means a Claude Pro login can be used as a provider without separately configuring an API provider.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Claude CLI is detected and logged in with Claude Pro, but CodePilot still reports:
No API key found: no active provider, no legacy settings, and no ANTHROPIC_API_KEY/ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN in environment.
Provider count is 0, so CodePilot does not seem to reuse Claude Code Pro OAuth credentials as a provider.
