Research direction

Start at the code or content that generates https://nodejs.org/en/download/alpha and trace where its Docker and unofficial-builds links and instructions come from. Check the linked progress issue, https://github.com/nodejs/docker-node/issues/2524, for the current Docker image status. Update the alpha page so its links and instructions reflect available downloads, then verify the rendered page no longer advertises unavailable options.

Description

https://nodejs.org/en/download/alpha shows

Image

with instructions:

# Docker has specific installation instructions for each operating system.
# Please refer to the official documentation at https://docker.com/get-started/

# Pull the Node.js Docker image:
docker pull node:27-slim

# Create a Node.js container and start a Shell session:
docker run -it --rm --entrypoint sh node:27-slim

# Verify the Node.js version:
node -v # Should print "v27.0.0-alpha.0.0.0".

# Verify npm version:
npm -v # Should print "12.1.0".

At this point in time, there are no Node.js Docker images available for Node.js 27 Alpha and there is no plan date for completion of the work to extend the coverage to this set of releases.
