Research direction

Start by reading the workflow files that configure SonarCloud and the README labels; the issue does not name their paths. Then inspect the project’s existing build and test setup to find where a local C# linter could run during development. Done means SonarCloud checks and README labels are removed and a runnable local linter is configured; confirm its command with the issue author because the tool and lint rules are unspecified.

Description

agent:failed enhancement ready

Sonarcloud is now checking for style and unwanted C# patterns. This is a bit outdated because AI agents can do this. I would like the sonarcloud to be removed, including the labels in the readme file. And I would like to set up a linter to test against at dev time so that the programming AI agent can run the tests prior to making a PR
