Research direction

Look for existing location handling in the codebase, likely in models or services related to photo metadata. Check how coordinates are currently stored and assigned. The feature involves adding a storage mechanism for named coordinates, possibly integrating with contact data. Start by examining the photo editing interface and any existing location APIs.

Description

Describe the feature you'd like to request

I might have looked up coordinates on a map for a certain place. And when editing metadata of photos I might want to set them to one and the same geoordinate repeatedly. So besides searching for coordinates over and over maybe I could simply store them in a list and be able to assign them from a finder to my photos?

Describe the solution you'd like

For the moment I'd think of a simple list.

Maybe it would optionally be possible to store them inside a contact so other applications can make use of it as well. That way you could have contact-details of a store or something with geocoordinates and easily tag photos to that stores location.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Manually taking notes of geocoordinates I selected in the past is not a real alternative.
And searching for "similar coodinates" again and again on the map is no good either.
