Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Start by tracing how public poll links identify and authorize unregistered respondents, then review the existing poll-editing flow. Done means an unregistered participant can safely edit their own response through a public link without gaining broader poll control.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Describe the goal you'd like to achieve

A non-nextcloud-registered-user receives a public poll-link and fills in the poll. A few hours after filling the poll, the user wants to make a change. This is not possible in an easy way at the moment.

Describe possible solutions

There should be an option 'make poll editable by everyone'
I know: users must trust each other, to not change other votes.
